Road Trip to Coffs Harbour - May 2026

What a weekend at the National Outrigger Marathon Championships.

A small team of 7 women took on the big seas and the solid swell. Our Senior Master Women's crew rose to the challenge with a strong performance across both the long and short course events in the unlimited division placing 4th on Saturday but dug dip on Sunday to back up and bring home a well-deserved bronze medal for short course.

More importantly, it was a weekend full of teamwork, resilience, laughs and great club spirit. Proud of the way everyone supported each other both on and off the water and from the amazing support received by our club members at home. The ladies certainly felt the love!

A huge thanks to host Club Coffs Harbour for putting on an outstanding regatta, to our team manager, Rick for towing our canoes and to all the clubs and competitors for an awesome display of sportsmanship, determination and camaraderie that truly show what makes our sport so special.
